ເງື່ອນໄຂການໃຊ້ບໍລິການ

1. Agreement to Terms

By creating an account, browsing listings, buying, or selling on Lakets ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you may not access or use the Service. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Lakets ("we", "us").

2. Eligibility & Account

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts to use Lakets. You agree to provide accurate, complete information during registration (phone number, name) and to keep your account credentials (PIN) confidential.

• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• One person or business entity may maintain one account.
• Seller identity verification (KYC) may be required before listing items for sale.

3. Marketplace — Buyer & Seller Responsibilities

Lakets is a platform that connects buyers and sellers. We are not a party to any transaction between users and do not take possession of goods sold through the Service.

Sellers agree to:

• List only items they legally own and are authorized to sell.
• Provide accurate descriptions, prices, and images.
• Fulfil accepted orders and respond to buyer messages in good faith.
• Comply with all applicable Lao laws, including consumer protection and prohibited-goods regulations.

Buyers agree to:

• Pay for orders they commit to purchase.
• Resolve disputes with sellers directly when possible.

4. Transactions

Some features within the Service (including third-party mini-apps and services made available through the platform) may facilitate payments or other transactions. Where such features are offered, you agree to provide accurate information and to complete only transactions you intend to honour.

• Transactions carried out through third-party mini-apps or external services are governed by the respective provider's terms and policies.
• Any prices or amounts displayed are shown for informational purposes and may be denominated in Lao Kip (LAK) or other currencies depending on the service.
• Lakets is not a party to transactions conducted through third-party services and is not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or outcome.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• List illegal, counterfeit, stolen, or restricted goods.
• Use the Service for fraud, money laundering, or any unlawful activity.
• Harass, threaten, or defame other users.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Service.
• Create accounts using false identities or another person's information.

Reporting & blocking: You can report any listing, profile, or chat message from the in-app menu (tap the ⋮ icon > Report) and attach evidence. Our team reviews every report and removes content or bans accounts that violate these terms. You can also block any user from chat or their profile so they can no longer contact you; manage blocked users in Settings / Profile > Blocked users.

6. Identity Verification (KYC)

To maintain a trusted marketplace, sellers may be required to complete identity verification by submitting a national ID and a live selfie. Submitted documents are processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law (PDPA).

7. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, logos, and software in Lakets are owned by us or our licensors. You retain ownership of the content (photos, listings) you submit, and grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host and display it for the purpose of operating the Service.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that listings are accurate, complete, or lawful. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or any transaction between users.

9. Limitation of Liability

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us through the Service in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Account Suspension & Termination

You may delete your account at any time via the in-app Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we believe your conduct harms other users or the Service.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by other reasonable means. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Lao People's Democratic Republic. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in Lao PDR.
